These terms explain how Usage Overview and the free Usage Companion are provided and what you can expect when you use them.

By downloading or using Usage Overview or Usage Companion, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.

These terms apply to Usage Overview and Usage Companion. If you obtain Usage Overview through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable terms and the Apple Standard EULA also apply where relevant.

The service

Usage Overview helps you display usage limits, reset times, and related information from compatible third-party services. Usage Companion helps prepare temporary QR pairing codes for supported desktop pairing paths. Usage Companion is provided free of charge.

The apps are independent software. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the providers whose services they can connect to. Provider names are used only to describe compatibility.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accounts and credentials you choose to connect. You must have the right to use those credentials and comply with the terms, policies, and security requirements of each provider.

  • Use a dedicated API key where a provider permits one, rather than a key that protects production systems or other people’s work.
  • Do not share credentials, API keys, recovery codes, or pairing QR codes with anyone you do not trust.
  • Do not use the apps to violate a provider’s terms, evade service limits, or access information you are not authorized to access.
  • Keep your devices secured with an appropriate passcode and platform security settings.

Subscription, trial, and billing

Usage Overview offers one auto-renewing monthly subscription. An active subscription unlocks live usage refreshes and Home Screen widgets. Eligible new subscribers may receive a seven-day free trial.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account after any applicable trial period. The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Prices, taxes, free-trial eligibility, refunds, and billing are determined and processed by Apple and may vary by region. Restore Purchases can be used to restore an active entitlement tied to the same Apple Account.

Availability and accuracy

Usage information is supplied by third-party providers. Limits, reset times, authentication methods, and provider APIs can change without notice. We work to present information accurately, but cannot guarantee that a provider’s data is complete, current, or available at every moment.

Features may be updated, changed, or discontinued when needed to maintain reliability, security, or compatibility. We may suspend a connection path that becomes unsafe or unsupported.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the apps are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every provider or device, or that displayed usage data will always be accurate or timely.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Usage Overview will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, access, or business opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the apps.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the apps handle credentials, usage information, support email, and device permissions. It is part of these Terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
